Kelsey A. Varzeas, PhD, LMHC, CMPC
Dr. Kelsey A. Varzeas (she/her/hers) brings a blend of personal and professional experience to her work as a mental health professional. She has considerable experience providing individual therapy specializing in eating disorders, body image, and related mental health concerns. Clients will find Dr. Varzeas to be a warm and compassionate therapist allowing clients to explore topics related to their unique social, cultural, emotional, and psychological stressors.
Her academic experience includes positions at Pennington Biomedical Research Center, Dartmouth College, and most recently, Springfield College as an assistant professor, where she conducts research, provides mentorship/supervision, and teaches graduate-level courses.
Outside of her professional, scholarly, and clinical lives, you will most certainly find Dr. Varzeas in the outdoors. As a nature lover, she experiences joy while skiing, trail running, gravel riding, hiking, and through other active pursuits. Dr. Varzeas honors the importance of rest and recovery through reading, laughing, and frequenting farmer’s markets.
